Area Calculator

Area Calculator
Plan your CorkLayer modular cork flooring project by measuring your space, choosing the right pack combination and allowing a sensible margin for layout and future replacement needs.
1. Measure
Measure the width and length of your room or active zone in metres.
2. Calculate
Multiply width × length to estimate the area in square metres.
3. Allow extra
Add extra material for edges, layout decisions and future replacement needs.
Simple formula
Width × Length = Area in m². For irregular spaces, divide the room into smaller rectangles, calculate each area separately and add them together.
Pack planning
Each CorkLayer tile measures approximately 300 × 300 mm and covers about 0.09 m². Around 12 tiles cover approximately 1.08 m². Choose a pack combination that slightly exceeds your exact measurement instead of ordering exactly to the square metre.
