Shipping Policy

CorkLayer ships modular cork flooring from Portugal to Europe and worldwide. Delivery options and costs depend on destination, order size, weight and available carrier services.

Portugal & Spain

Orders may be shipped with CTT Expresso or GLS depending on destination, parcel size and operational availability.

Worldwide

For most international orders, UPS is our main logistics partner. DHL or FedEx may be used when appropriate.

Insured shipments

Shipments are arranged with transport insurance according to carrier and service conditions.

Shipping rates and delivery times

Shipping costs are calculated according to destination, total weight, order size and the shipping rules available at checkout. Some markets and larger packs may include free or subsidised shipping when available.

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs processing, incorrect addresses, carrier delays, local holidays, failed delivery attempts or events outside CorkLayer’s control.

Customs, duties and taxes

For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties, taxes, brokerage fees or customs charges may apply according to the destination country’s rules. These costs are the customer’s responsibility unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.

Receiving your order

  • Check the parcel condition when delivered.
  • If there is visible damage, take photos before opening and contact us as soon as possible.
  • Do not refuse delivery without contacting us first unless the carrier requires it because of visible severe damage.
  • If delivery fails or a parcel is not collected, return or re-shipping costs may apply.
