Installation

CorkLayer is designed for simple installation without glue, nails or specialist tools.

  • Place the first tile on a clean, dry and level indoor surface.
  • Align the next tile with the interlocking edge.
  • Press gently until the pieces connect.
  • Repeat the process until the desired area is covered.
  • Tiles can be removed, moved or reconfigured when needed.

For larger professional projects, we recommend planning the layout before installation and ordering a small extra margin.
Care & maintenance

CorkLayer is easy to maintain for everyday indoor use.

  • Clean regularly with a soft broom, vacuum or dry mop.
  • For light dirt, wipe with a slightly damp cloth.
  • Avoid soaking the floor or leaving standing water for long periods.
  • Use furniture pads under heavy furniture where appropriate.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners or steam cleaning.
